A sparkler has four named stages. So does the life of a Pigment model.

Start with an expert on your side of the table.

01Tsubomithe budDesign

Most of the expensive decisions in a Pigment project are made early: dimensions, granularity, data flows, who owns what. We review the design and sit beside your build as an independent senior advisor, so your partner’s work lands the way finance needs it.

  • A written design review before the build starts
  • Acceptance criteria written from the finance side

Partners bring us in when their pipeline outruns their bench: senior architects who work inside their methodology and under their brand. And when a model is slow, late or not trusted, we diagnose it without blame and recover it.

  • Senior architects who join a partner team within its methodology
  • A no-blame diagnosis and a prioritized recovery plan
A recovery planIllustrative
  1. Week 1Change freeze. No-blame review of structure, calculations and data flows.
  2. Week 2Prioritized plan: three quick fixes, two redesigns, one rebuild.
  3. Weeks 3–6Recover in a development application; parallel-run against the old numbers.
  4. Hand backDocumentation and a walkthrough for the team or partner who owns it next.

Pigment’s Modeler Agent, Analyst Agent and Custom Agents are only as good as the model underneath them. We make models agent-ready, with clear names, one-line descriptions, annotated formulas and deliberate access rights, and teach your team to use the agents safely.

  • Custom Agents and Frames designed and tested with your real users

Plans change every quarter. After launch we give finance teams senior Pigment ownership: change requests, performance tuning and admin. We also train your people until they can run the model themselves.

Agents now build most new metrics. Your model decides how well.

Pigment reports that 85% of new metrics in Pigment are now created by an agent. An agent working on a tangled, undocumented model builds more tangle. We get the model ready first.

  1. Names a person and an agent can read

Display names without unexplained acronyms or vague labels such as “Calc” or “Input 1”.

  2. A one-sentence description on every Block

What business object it holds, and why it exists.

  3. Annotated formulas

So the Modeler Agent’s suggestions follow your logic instead of guessing at it.

  4. Deliberate access

Agents inherit the access rights of the person using them, and AI data access is set Metric by Metric.

For Pigment partners: senior capacity that stays under your brand.

Our founder co-founded one of the first two Pigment partner practices in North America, wrote its Pigment architecture standards and built the team behind the 2024 Pigment North American Impact Partner of the Year. Since relaunching Hibana Solutions in September 2025, seven of our eight Pigment engagements have come through partners. We work under your brand and inside your methodology, from the first workshop to hypercare.

How we work with partners

Our partner pledge. We never solicit a partner’s client. We take on rescue and customer-side work only where it doesn’t break a partner relationship. When we’re brought in beside a partner, our job is to make the project succeed.

The people who do the work.

Common questions

What does Hibana Solutions do?
We are a small team of senior Pigment consultants. We rescue and support Pigment models, act as an independent advisor on the customer’s side during implementations, train finance teams, add senior capacity to Pigment partners, and prepare models for Pigment AI and its agents.
Do you work for Pigment?
No. Hibana Solutions is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pigment. We work with Pigment customers directly and as a subcontractor to Pigment implementation partners.
Will you compete with our implementation partner?
No. We never solicit a partner’s client, and we take on rescue or customer-side work only where it doesn’t break a partner relationship. When we work beside a partner, our job is to make the project succeed.
How much does it cost?
The architecture review is free. Everything after it is scoped to your model and quoted as a fixed fee or a monthly retainer once we have seen what you need.
Where are you based?
Hibana Solutions is based in Arizona, in the Phoenix area. The team works remotely with Pigment customers and partners across the United States and beyond.
